FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., Sept. 18, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Schlesinger Law Offices, P.A. announced a $2.3 million jury verdict on behalf of their client Dayron Arguelles, a 57-year-old hairstylist from Aventura who suffered life-altering injuries in a 2022 motorcycle crash.

On February 27, 2022, Mr. Arguelles was stopped in traffic on I-95 South when the defendant rear-ended him. The collision launched Mr. Arguelles more than 30 feet, leaving him with fractures to both his tibia and fibula and a traumatic brain injury that continues to impact his quality of life.

The case was tried before Judge Daniel Casey in Broward County. Attorneys Scott Schlesinger, Sarah Foster, and Gloria Contreras-Piana stood by their client every step of the way. Prior to trial, the defendant admitted full responsibility for the crash, but their insurer refused to offer fair compensation. Rather than accept a low settlement, Mr. Arguelles chose to go to trial. According to Scott Schlesinger, "Our client placed his trust in a jury of South Floridians, and they delivered a fair and just verdict." The jury awarded damages covering medical expenses as well as the lasting physical and emotional losses Mr. Arguelles has endured. The verdict reflects how clearly the jury understood the profound toll this crash has taken on Mr. Arguelles's life.
