Since admission to The Florida Bar in 1974, he has handled thousands of cases involving aviation accidents, defective products, professional negligence, and insurance law. He has tried more than one hundred cases in state and federal court, including the United States Supreme Court, and obtained verdicts and settlements of more than 100 million dollars for his clients. Mr. Spohrer is listed in Florida Trend Magazine's "Legal Elite," in the Best Lawyers in America, and as a Florida "Super Lawyer" - a prestigious achievement based on peer nominations. His courtroom achievements have been covered extensively by the national media, including The Washington Post, 60 Minutes, National Public Radio and BBC World Service Radio. Throughout his career, Mr. Spohrer has been active in professional organizations, legal education and civic organizations.
