Mr. Clifford has represented victims in every major commercial airline crash in the United States in the last 40 years including serving as Lead Counsel in the crash of an American Eagle flight that led to a $110 million settlement on behalf of several families. He was named Lead Counsel on behalf of the victims of a Boeing 737 Max jet crash in Ethiopia, representing 72 families of the 157 from across the world who perished in the 2019 crash. He was named its Lawyer of the Year in 2016 in Mass Tort Litigation/Class Actions.
