After graduating from Rainier Beach High School, he went on to graduate from the University of Washington. He then attended the UW School of Law, graduating in 1997 with highest honors, Order of the Coif, Order of the Barristers.
Felix spent his first ten years of practice at Heller Ehrman LLP, where he was promoted to shareholder. There, Felixs practice focused on complex commercial and civil rights litigation. While with Heller Ehrman, Felix examined and cross-examined scores of fact and expert witnesses at trial, and spent more than a year of his tenure with the firm actively engaged in trial or arbitration.
Felix joined Peterson Wampold Rosato Feldman Luna in March 2007, where he continues his career as a trial lawyer. Since joining PWRFL, Felix has been a member of several trial teams in counties across the state. He also serves as an adjunct professor/lecturer for the UW School of Law trial advocacy program and as a coach for the schools national mock trial team. Felix also serves on numerous legal and civil boards, and regularly conducts Continuing Legal Education seminars for other attorneys on many subjects related to trial advocacy. In addition to being named a Top 100 Super Lawyer by Washington Law & Politics and earning a Superb rating on Avvo, Felix was recognized as the 2005 Outstanding Young Lawyer of the year by the King County Bar Association and named a 2005 40 under 40 honoree by the Puget Sound Business Journal for his contribution to the Puget Sound civic and business community. In 2011, he was honored by the UW School of Law with the recent graduate award and by the Washington Defense Trial Lawyers Association as its 2011 Plaintiff Attorney of the Year. In 2012 Felix joined the Damage Attorneys Round Table (DART) and in 2015 Felix joined the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA). In 2018, he was inducted into the American College of Trial Lawyers (ACTL). You can watch Felix give his speech on behalf of all of the 2018 inductees here. In 2019, Felix received the Tom Chambers Trial Lawyer of the Year Award.
Felixs practice currently focuses on personal injury cases, civil rights litigation, and business disputes. When hes not working, Felix loves to travel, spend time with his family and to exercise and play team sports.
