She is a past Chair of the Women's Caucus of the American Trial Lawyers Association, and has served as a lecturer, panelist, workshop leader and author nationwide since 1981, lecturing on such topics as Voir Dire, Opening Statements, Cross-Examination and Closing Arguments. She is the daughter of the late Rachel Johnson, a distinguished trial lawyer who served as an attorney, Municipal Judge and member of the Texas Bar for 50 years. Elizabeth is a long-time resident of Winter Park, Florida, where she continues to practice with her son, Peter J. Gulden, III, limiting their work to the representation of victims of medical negligence.
