Tom Eckhardt was a successful personal injury attorney in San Bernardino, California. He qualified for membership and told Richard Grand when he filled out his application in 1972 that he was suffering from an inoperable brain tumor. It was Tom's wish to be a member of The Inner Circle of Advocates even though he would probably never be able to attend a meeting. He was admitted to membership in 1972 but died from the brain tumor before our first convention in 1973.
